We’re excited to offer another scholarship with one of our longstanding diversity partners, Women Who Code. The last time we offered scholarships in partnership with Women Who Code, we saw a nearly 50/50 gender split in our Galvanize Full Stack program in San Francisco that started on October 2014 in our San Francisco campus.
We’ve seen that working with diversity-focused organizations is a viable way to provide more opportunities for women in tech, which is why we’ve decided to partner with Women Who Code again to close the gender gap in data science at our Seattle and Denver campuses. We’re offering 3 partial scholarships to women who want to attend Galvanize Data Science in Denver or Seattle, based on merit and demonstrated financial need.
Graduates of this program have an average 93 percent placement rate in full-time data science work within six months of leaving the program, and companies that have hired Galvanize Data Science graduates include Tesla, Twitter, Radius, and many others.
