Cohort Begins

Galvanize and Pfizer will jointly select companies for this first cohort. We are specifically interested in selecting companies that focus on sleep, stress management, energy, aging, and nutrition.

The first cohort will start on August 15, 2016. The program is six months long.

Applications for the Pfizer Wellness Lab are currently open and due no later than July 15, 2016 at 12 AM PST.

The program will be conducted at Galvanize San Francisco campus located at 44 Tehama St, San Francisco, California. The selected companies will receive space to work on campus.

The mentors provided by Galvanize are listed on our San Francisco campus Mentors Page. In addition, Pfizer, Silicon Valley Bank and Booz Allen Hamilton will also be providing mentors.

Funding is not part of the program, however, companies will have access to technical talent, mentors, and the Galvanize network.

Mentorship: Over the six-month program, we will facilitate weekly office hours with your mentors. Your mentors and the Galvanize team will help make introductions, provide insight and advice on how to grow your company, and provide access to technical talent.

Technical Talent: Galvanize will provide access to technical talent through our Data Science and Full Stack expert staff and cohort students. Companies will have an opportunity to pitch projects to students to take on as their program capstone project.

Resources: Participating companies will have access to all regular membership resources, amenities, and programming.

Network: The Galvanize Network spans seven campuses and decades of technology expertise. Our network includes a diverse range of investors, founders, full stack engineers, data scientists, and other technology enthusiasts. In addition, we've added to our network for this program through partnerships with Pfizer, Silicon Valley Bank, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
