Women Who Code made noise in New York. Women Who Code rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on January 20th. CEO Anna Percival proclaimed “We’re honored and empowered by this opportunity, which symbolically demonstrates the real impact that women in technology can have on the economy.”

Luxe teams up with Tesla. Luxe, the  “Door to Door and More” valet service, is partnering with Tesla to expand their parking services, offer car charging, and more features for Tesla vehicles when drivers book parking through the Luxe app.

The Food Corridor wins Silver Prize. The Food Corridor took home 2nd place in the Food and City Challenge in Austin, TX after pitching their innovative method of improving the urban food system.

Mortgage startup Lenda raises $2 million. Lenda raised $2 million in its latest round of financing. The round, led by Lakestar with commitments from existing investors Rubicon and 500 Startups, will be used to continue to expand its business.

FitPay brings NFC payments to Pebble smartwatches. Pagaré is a smartstrap from FitPay that adds tap-and-go payment capabilities to the Pebble Time series of smartwatches. The Kickstarter campaign bundles the Pagaré and Pebble Time smartwatch for the same cost as the smartwatch alone.

Spex hires Steve Leger. Spex announced that insurance claims industry veteran Steve Leger joined the company in the role of Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Women-focused MergeLane announces second cohort. MergeLane, an investment accelerator for companies with at least one female in leadership, announced its 2016 cohort of ten startups.

Amplii offers beta reservation. Amplii wants to give you early access! Reserve your spot to their “personal advocacy assistant” upon its April release.

Logilube and Waterfall announce cyber security solution. LogiLube, LLC has teamed up with Waterfall to create “Platinum Level Data Security”, a unidirectional cyber security tool for the natural gas compression industry.

RockySoft is re-branding. After 15 years of operating as RockySoft, the company re-branded to PlanningEdge, marking a refresh from a services oriented organization to a software company.
