Apollonia/St.Renatus announced FDA approval on Kovanaze. Apollonia (Fort Collins) announced that its first product, Kovanaze™ Nasal Spray, is now approved by the United States Food & Drug Administration (FDA). Kovanaze (tetracaine HCI and oxymetazoline HCI) is the first product that allows for dental anesthesia to be administered through a nasal spray without using a needle. It is intended for use in dentistry as a topical anesthetic, delivered in the nasal cavity, to achieve tooth nerve anesthesia. 

Hillary Clinton pays visit to PanXchange. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton visited with the team from PanXchange, Inc. (Denver), a web-based negotiation and trading software for physical commodity markets a day after the company launches its first US trading market.

Vow to be Chic raised $5 million. Vow to be Chic (San Francisco), a designer bridesmaid dress rental startup, received $5 million in a Series A funding to give snake women the shopping experience and dream wedding that they desire while providing aspirational designer dresses at a fraction of the cost.

WiseBanyan introduces Milestones. WiseBanyan (Boulder) launched Milestone, a free financial planning service that helps clients achieve any financial goal: from a first home, to retirement, to traveling the world.

Denverite launched a new kind of news. Denverite offers a digital-only news source that will provide readers with Denver-specific information that actually matters. Launched in June, the mission of Denverite is to deliver all the news and information people in the greater Denver area need to help make the city a great place to live.

QwipIt Inc built chatbot for Lights Out movie Scare Booth. In partnership with Grandesign Inc, QwipIt (Fort Collins) built a Facebook Messenger Chatbot for a live experience for the Lights Out movie (a Warner Bros. Pictures) called the Scare Booth.  

Artifact Uprising’s passion for customers pays off. Artifact Uprising (Denver) has successfully combined an elevated design aesthetic with responsibly-sourced materials and a passion for customer service, which together have earned the company a strong and sustained customer following.

Go Hunt Life launched a new podcast. Go Hunt Life (Austin) was launched with one goal in mind: to inspire one person that is disheartened in their current career or life path to make the gutsy decision to change it. Subscribe to listen to the latest podcast.

Notion raised $3.2 million. Notion (Denver) announced the successful close of their $3.2M seed round. The company plans to use the capital injection to further commercialize their offering, which is said to already have 10,000 units in homes.

How ClickFox productized analytics. ClickFox (Denver), a company that has productized Journey Analytics, was showcased by Dan Wood in Forbes.

MergeLane launched Innovation Camp. MergeLane’s (Boulder) Innovation Camp is a concentrated, intensive one-week program designed to accelerate participants’ growth as innovative leaders this Nov 7th-11th at the new Galvanize Boulder Campus.
