We’re proud to announce that we’ve teamed up with one of our amazing community members, Glassbreakers, to offer scholarships for women to want to learn to code as part of our next Galvanize Full Stack cohort. Up to four students will have between 25 and 50 percent of their tuition covered and will receive a stipend from Glassbreakers to help cover their cost of living.
Glassbreakers is doing amazing work to support women in technology and provide them with more opportunities to learn and grow. They’ve been a phenomenal addition to the Galvanize community, and we’re thrilled to work with them more closely to provide students with life-changing educational opportunities.
Galvanize Full Stack is our 6-month web development program with a 98% placement rate, and our next cohort runs from August 3, 2015 to January 29th, 2016. Thanks to the generous support provided by our community, we were able to achieve a nearly 50 percent male/female split in our first San Francisco cohort. We’re excited to keep the momentum going and provide more opportunities for underrepresented groups through scholarships and other forms of support.
If you’re a woman who wants to take the next step in learning how to code, this is an amazing opportunity. You can start the application now for the Glassbreakers Scholarship. The deadline is July 24th, so get your application in today.
