Meet Your Instructor:

Eric Leininger holds a PhD in Neurobiology from Tulane University and is a USPTO-registered patent agent. He also has over 10 years of hands-on programming experience in a variety of programming languages and has the unique perspective of being both an inventor and an entrepreneur. While developing his patent practice, Leininger Patents, Eric came up with the idea of assisted patent drafting to increase the efficiency of patent preparation. With funding from the National Science Foundation, his early prototype eventually led to the formation of PatentDive. PatentDive’s software makes patent application preparation faster and more cost-effective than the status quo. PatentDive is also working to demystify and destigmatize the patent process by creating easy-to-understand patent education for the average consumer.
