Are you an Austin area high school teacher? Want to bring your students to meet some of the hottest startups in town? Join us on Monday, December 5th for a field trip like none other!
We’ll visit some of the most innovative and diverse companies in downtown Austin. We’ll hear from founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and most importantly, software engineers, to learn about what it takes to work in the thriving field of technology in Austin.
Space is limited so when registering, so please list an accurate number of students who will likely attend the event.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No – we’ll coordinate directly with you as the designated chaperone.
Will chaperones be provided?
Each school representative must designate their own chaperone for their students. Each chaperone will be responsible for a maximum of 15 students.
How many students can I bring from my school?
A maximum of 40 students will be allowed to attend per school to give various schools and districts a chance to participate. Each chaperone can look after a maximum of 15 students.
What release forms or permissions do I need from parents/guardians?
Photo and video release forms and parent/guardian permission forms are mandatory to participate in this event. They will be provided to each school representative separately after sign up, for each student they bring. These permission forms must be brought along when attending the event.
What ages can participate?
To benefit most from the experience, students should be of high school age.
