Gender Inequality in the Tech Industry (hosted by SnapChat)

September 7, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Gender inequality is an enduring, complicated issue within the tech industry. Even well into the 21st century, positions continue to be implicitly assigned according to specified gender roles, with much of the economic and political power tilted against women and the LGBTIQA communities. This Meetup serves to start the conversation on several common topics and offer an opportunity of engagement and expression to those who feel underrepresented and excluded.
