Meet your instructor:

Parker Lewis is an Associate Instructor and Full-Stack Developer at Galvanize. He specializes in Javascript, specifically working in Node with his framework of choice being Express. While working on Galvanize’s software team he discovered React and is very interested in learning more about it. Right now, when not focusing on teaching his students HTML, CSS, and Express, he is developing computer science curriculum in Python. These exercises will teach students concepts such as Object Oriented Programming, data structures, and search and sorting algorithms. When not coding, Parker likes being outside, far away from the glow of a laptop or phone screen. He is an avid tennis player and big fan of the San Francisco Giants.

Galvanize is a dynamic learning community for technology. Our community is where people and companies with the guts and smarts to create real-world change congregate and inspire each other. Our goal is to make opportunities in technology available to all those with the aptitude, determination, and drive.
