Celebrating Female Founders Seattle

November 4, 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

When a woman starts a company and looks around the startup scene, at first glance they feel like they are different than the people around them and often don’t feel as welcome as their male counterparts.

Our goal is to showcase those Investors, Founders, and Supporters in the community that are helping women owned businesses, are investing in female founders, and are starting companies themselves.

The first way we are realizing this goal is to host an event where investors present introduce companies they have funded to pitch their successes to the community.  We will also have a panel discussion between investors and female Founders.

You have supported the community and helped female founders in growing their companies. There are more emerging female founders and we want to showcase you as their first choice.

You are the torch bearers of this community and supported others in the journey. You are the ones who got immense support and encouragement from this community. We give you a chance to thank this community and also share your experiences with emerging female founders. You also get an opportunity to identify resources for your own company.

Gravity Payments : www.gravitypayments.com

We at Gravity exist to stand up for the hardworking business owners in our communities, fighting to help them receive the same fair treatment big businesses enjoy. Why? Because these people are the dreamers, the risk-takers who have laid it on the line to make our communities what they are. Unfortunately they are also the exploited, the taken advantage of.
Like the community business clients we serve, bootstrapping women are also risk-takers who working tirelessly to achieve their dreams and make a difference. But, also like our community business owners, they are often exploited and not given fair treatment. We’re excited to sponsor this year’s Found-Hers event, supporting something incredibly important to every one of us at Gravity.
